What is a mnemonic scheme?
A tactile mnemonic scheme is a special typhlo-technical means of spatial orientation for visually impaired people, developed by specialists of POG Resource Center “Barrier-free Ukraine”.  This device should meet many requirements in the field of standards of visual impairment, and the map of space displayed on it should be made taking into account the peculiarities of how the blind person perceives the world. Development and production of a tactile plan is a difficult and time-consuming process carried out by visually impaired specialists, in which one must first take into account the peculiarities of people’s sensory perception and the necessary tactile effect, because only a blind person can really appreciate its quality.

Description of the object:
Set combines three products: tactile mnemonic, help call system and fixture, made at a certain angle to ensure comfortable reading by totally blind and visually impaired people. Combining the above devices in a single product provides a significant increase in the functionality of the tactile sign, ensuring the possibility of installation in conditions of limited space.
