Tactile indicators are special devices that are used for the purpose of marking pathways for the blind. They are manufactured as cones and strips and are used both indoors and outdoors and in places where tactile tiles cannot be laid. The cones are usually used to identify dangerous areas, e.g. the edges of platforms, while the strips make it easier to identify the movement vector.
The main advantages of aluminium indicators are
If the size of the tile makes it impossible to fit a standard tile, tactile indicators are a better choice
compact size and affordable price
not subject to corrosion
Easy installation with a stencil
Special tactile cones are used for marking the tactile paths of disabled people in rooms with high passability or in the street. They are also used where it is technically impossible or impractical to use tactile tiles.
