Nordic Walking

The club was formed based on the sports club 'Guide Runner' thanks to Vasyl Zakrevskyi and Ruslan Rubel. Our group brings together people with visual impairments and volunteers who help them engage in sports. The club welcomes all new 'Nordic walkers'!

What is Scandinavian walking?

This sport originated in Finland as a summer training program for skiers. Seeing the high effectiveness of this physical activity, pole walking began to be used by enthusiasts of an active lifestyle, and it spread to Western Europe, the USA, Japan, Australia, and other countries around the world.

Scandinavian walking is a great way to keep muscles toned, it has a therapeutic effect and promotes quick recovery after injuries. It is important to choose the right poles for training. Any sports training has a certain potential that can only be unlocked with proper exercise execution.

In Ukraine, Scandinavian walking is just beginning to gain popularity, and now is the perfect time for you to join!
